9/7/26 I find it amazing how truck drivers whine and complain all the time that there's no truck parking.... but when a convenience store in rural Louisiana opens up there two acre parking lot for free overnight truck parking, the whining continues because there's a few potholes and it's not a state-of-the-art travel center. I know it's a challenge, but try to be grateful, be thankful, be appreciative and quit whining like a child who feels that mommy and daddy owe them everything. This place is fine and the parking lot is not that bad. It's free parking, focus on that.

I have no idea what the store is like, didn't go in, but it is only a gas station, not a truck stop, the parking is odd, but not bad at all, plus its free, and there's plenty of grass for the dogs. The location itself is actually great, a Brookshire Grocery about 2 blocks away, DG across the street and 3 or 4 food options, including a BK and a Mexican restaurant. I'll likely park here again
