Overall rating
Tribally-owned gas station, convenience store, and small slot parlor(!). Easy access from Hwy 70 if you're going between Alamogordo and Ruidoso or Roswell. The Mescalero Apache tribe owns several properties in the Lincoln National Forest and I like to support what they do economically. You'll find nice people at all of their businesses. For a more traditional truck stop, check out their Casino Apache, also on Hwy 70. And for a luxe resort (without your truck), they own Inn of the Mountain Gods.
