Nice and quiet...was the only trucker here in the back, highest-up slots, until some ignorant soul came and parked too close and proceeded to run his truck all night. I had to move away, as this awesome quiet place was fouled by noise pollution and needless exhaust pollution. The only reasons I can come-up/w why someone would run their engine all night long when the weather is awesome and the night air perfect is: 1) It's an older truck with no good battery bank and they have to run their CPAP machine...and if this is so, I can sympathize/w that. Or, 2) You are completely ignorant of others, the quiet vibe of the place (lot's of campers around enjoying the peace of this place) AND you aren't paying for that fuel you needlessly burned all night long for no good reason. I love the peace and freedom of trucking sometimes, but you have to contend/w the worst of humanity, from pee bottles and trash chunck(ers) to needless engine running all-night-long ignoramuses in a quiet, beautiful spot, who probably feel that it's their God-given right as a red-blooded American to do as "I *** well please", even if so many others have to suffer from your childish ignorance.

This place is quiet with easy parking. The night sky views are amazing here. Under the right circumstances, I might even think about bringing my large celestron telescope. The back in truck spots can be a little dark at night. Just get out and look really good with a flashlight before backing in, and you'll be fine. Vault toilets with no running water.
