Someone named this place with "disused". I've never heard of the word before. Abandoned would have also worked.

It's an abandoned weigh station. Demolished now. It's now just a wide spot. No porta potties. Nothing. But hey, it's guaranteed parking any time night or day. I carry food and a coffee pot for the morning so I'm good. Very dark, quiet and desolate out here.

Aside from all of the garbage in and out of the gutted out camper this is a decent place to stop for the night. No restrooms, practically no lighting, but also very little popularity, ensuring that there will be a space for you to park. (At least for now) I stopped 6/13/23 Tuesday night around 10 PM and no one was here. No one else showed up after me. If coming here at night, look very carefully on your maps to see where to turn (when coming from WB i-10 because the entrance won’t be lit up and you might assume you’re crossing the other side of traffic into a trap. Enjoy the parking. Watch for the deer flies. They bite.
