I was expecting to meet a modern version of Mel & Flo from the TV show "Alice" @ this Mel's Diner-LOL, but instead encountered two wonderful people- Edgar & Martha. Edgar is the Non Procrastinating Chef & his wife Martha, the waitress. He did an awesome job on my food, hot, not much salt & tasted very good. Martha, whom is bilingual, was eating her lunch & was way hospitable, professional & polite. Mel's Diner had a few other patrons, was very clean & if you're seated @ the counter, the left wall has some pictures of a "really cool guy back in the day." Thx Edgar & Martha, also there is parking in the rear of the building & I recommend this locale to my fellow Professional CMV Drvrs. God Bless & stay safe.
