I used to love going to this Petro, and quite honestly Petro has historically been my favorite truck stops to park at, but not anymore. Speaking just for me, the food was nearly non-existent last time I came here, and I won't go anywhere I am not welcome. Charging $18 to park in that dump is not at all welcoming. There are other Petros/TAs that still value their customers, I will continue to park and fuel and eat at those locations, but next time I'm in Shorter, AL, the Love's is a much more welcoming location, I will take my business there.

Yes you have to pay. the lot is clean. Plenty of room to maneuver for parking. did not fill up at all this weekend. staff is super nice and professional. Will definitely stop again. showers are older but clean.
