Sadly, showers are down!
This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a truck stop. I requested a shower about one hour ago, and the line has barely moved. I am still waiting, and there is still no shower available. When I politely asked an employee why the line was not moving, she responded, “I am the only person working right now.” She then pointed toward the doors and told me there were doors if I wanted to leave. I understand that being short-staffed can happen, but that does not excuse treating customers this way. If there is a long wait, customers should at least be given clear information and treated respectfully. Truck drivers spend a lot of time at these facilities and depend on them for basic services like showers. Waiting more than an hour with no meaningful progress is unacceptable. Management needs to seriously improve the shower service and customer service at this location.
