I received confirmation from the Sales Representative via text from their phone number I got from the Spartan Fuel website that can be found via Google search that this is not free parking and is reserved monthly parking only. They were booked when I requested to pay for a spot to complete my 10 hour break until 11:30am. I arrived at 1:29am with a low clock, and my clock was at zero when found out I had to move with no choice to even pay to stay to complete my DOT break. Some generous driver who apparently already claimed to have had a reserved spot here knocked at 6am letting me know this and that I should hurry up and leave before the owners return in about half an hour. Drivers: You need to follow through on this stuff. If you are ordered by a representative of an ungated, unfenced, property with evident truck services and truck parking, yet with no signs posted, that you cannot stay and must drive outside of your HOS, request politely that they confirm they understand you are out of legal driving time and that their property didn't have signs informing of the conditions. Don't make up stuff if you know a place has signs, they will figure it out, but this place only claims that signs are being made so currently they do not have signs posted. It is 7:32am now and appears about an hour ago, someone anonymous posted an update saying it is not free parking, you will be towed. I arrived at 1:29am so I could not have known this. The representative confirmed via text to understand my HOS was at zero and that there is no parking here except for monthly reservations. They then cited the anonymous post on here from approximately 6:30am - 5 hours after my shut down - stating this information. Gladly I have TVC membership in case I get cited by DOT within 7 days of now. I also recommend giving TVC a try knowing what all can happen out here. I am an owner operator, 5 years experienced with trucking and still new stuff happens, such as this situation. Save your records.
