Overall rating
I know $10 is only $10... but don't spend it here unless you absolutely have to stop for your break. In my opinion, this place feels like nothing more than a hole in the wall. If you're expecting hot food or a decent selection, don't count on it. A lot of the snacks looked old, and the last time I bought something from the cooler, I didn't notice anything wrong until I got back to my truck. It was dark outside, so I turned on my interior lights, and that's when I found a hole in the package. I couldn't even find an expiration date, so I threw it away. They got the sale, and I took the loss. I've parked here a few times in the past and nobody ever asked me to pay. The last time I stopped, I was immediately approached about paying $10 to park. Since I was picking up a load nearby, I paid it. This time, the same thing happened, and I just said, "Forget it," and left. Personally, I don't mind paying to park if the facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a good experience. I just didn't feel that was the case here. The restroom wasn't clean, and overall I wasn't impressed. If you're a truck driver passing through, I'd recommend driving a few more miles south to Boswell instead. In my experience, parking has been free there, nobody has bothered me about paying to park, and it's a much better stop overall.
