I wanted to take a shower there. I arrived, and every single shower was dirty. Nobody had cleaned them. When I asked about it, they acted like they were going to clean one, took the keys upstairs, and then did absolutely nothing. I waited for half an hour, watching nothing happen, and eventually I had to leave without even taking a shower. This is ridiculous. A truck stop is basically the only place where a truck driver can relax, use a damn restroom, and take a shower. All day today, everywhere I went, I was told to wait — pickup, delivery, everywhere. And the damn logbook keeps forcing me to drive. It tells me I can’t just sit around because otherwise I won’t make it on time. So now I’m exhausted, and the guy who was pretending to clean my shower is telling me to wait too. When I went upstairs, I saw him just standing there doing nothing, busy with something on his phone. Then he eventually came back downstairs without cleaning anything. You took away the only 30 minutes of free time I had today, simply because you were too lazy to do your job. ***.
