This place is ***, this town is ***, the people here are ***....AND they hate trucks and the drivers of them. I will say that out of the 48 states that I've traveled, and 2 parts of Canada, this town and its neighbor College Station are the most unfriendly, rudest, and racist people I've ever met, especially if you're not white or if you're an immigrant.

Pay to park or get towed? Apparently they don’t know the law very well. They can’t tow you if you’re in your truck, if they try you have a lawsuit of epic proportions. No tow truck operator is going to tow you while you’re in your truck, and you don’t have to exit your vehicle just because they say so, in fact the law can not even force you to leave your vehicle. They can tell you too but they have to have a good reason to use force, and “because we wanted to tow the truck” does not qualify in court as a valid reason. I’m speaking from experience, worked as a legal aid for 15 years and dealt with this same thing. Of course, in a backwoods country court the judge may be corrupt and violate your rights, but that’ll get this on a nation spotlight and then they’ll be in deep ***
