  The store itself is great. The kitchen folks work hard, seem to stay busy and have some great pizza (okay, its much better than Pilot and Loves anyway...my standards aren't high on the road). The store has a good selection of snacks and drinks and is clean overall. On the other hand,the showers were pretty grimy. There was trash on the floor along with dust and dirt, grime on the walls, and I'm pretty sure the fans hold a world record for most caked on dust. However, the shower itself (despite being dirty), had great water pressure and nice hot water. When I paid ($8), the guy said it would be about 10 mins because he needed to clean one. I understand things get busy around lunch, so I waited 30 minutes then checked back in with him, and the shower still wasn't clean. He finally ran bsck to clean it, and cleaned two of them in the span of about 5 minutes, so honestly, I wasn't expecting it to look like Cinderella had been back ther. Parking is ample with nice wide spots, and it seems to be available throughout the day. Nice laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers too. Overall, nothing to write home to mom about,but I'd stop here again just because its a change from the normal big chains, and the pan pizza was really pretty good.

  I hate to write this, because I used to love this stop but it has gone down hill bad over the last year. The bathrooms are filthy, dust all over the walls, urine all over the floors, no toilet paper. Go in the drivers bathroom its bad too. busted locks, nasty. I paid for a shower, they had no towels at the time and gave me about 6 rags. The shower was not clean, there was a used bar of soap on the holder which let me know it for sure was not cleaned. the diesel islands are slick, oily and filthy. the garbage is running out of the bins. I would recommend to not eat any food prepared here, because seeing how filthy everything else is, I wouldn't trust the kitchen to be clean. sad state of affairs for a once great truck stop. now its a place to maybe grab fuel or a ten hour break and bail. I would rather use the bathroom in a bucket in my truck.
