Overall rating
it's doable for maybe 1 truck. just camped here last night with no issues. parking lot is just too small to call this truck parking, but maybe you will get lucky and get 1 of the few spots available
I come here a lot, our home terminal is nearby. There are TWO Walmarts here- One regular and one grocery store “Neighborhood Market” type. It’s better to shop in the evenings because it does get busy in the daytime and I can’t say about overnight parking because I don’t need to at this location. Come in from the back side if you’re going to try- NOT from Elk Grove There is usually parking at the rear entrance on Sacramento Blvd. which runs right alongside Hwy. 99 South. If one Walmart doesn’t have what you’re looking for the other one might. Look at the Satellite view- and just come in from the backside. Go West on Laguna Blvd. from that exit off of Hwy. 99 Left on Laguna Springs Dr. Left to W. Stockton Blvd. that runs alongside Hwy. 99 and dead ends into the bigger Walmart’s parking lot, which has a large turn around circle right at the entrance. Again- Do NOT come in from the Elk Grove Blvd. side. The smaller Walmart and strip mall area and their layout are NOT truck-friendly. You can loop through the neighborhood different ways to get to Stockton Blvd. but I’ve already told you the easiest way. It’s very easy to come in and park back there and then just turn around and go out the way you came in. I have a studio sleeper and pull a 53’ trailer and I do it all the time. There’s lots of room if you count the turnaround and Stockton Blvd. I park on the backmost corner right on the left at that entrance- it’s usually empty, even in the daytime. Overnight at your own risk, though, I’ve never needed to sleep here. You people need to use satellite view and plan your way into these places. There are many Walmarts that are very easy to get in&out of… IF YOU JUST USE THE TRUCK ENTRANCE!
