If you ever get booted at Walmart, remember that they can only legally tell you to leave for not following their store rules. However, they can't charge you cash ransom because they don't have the authority to do so. Walmart may be considered private property, but they welcome customers and don't have no trespassing signs. Always call the police first to make sure that it's not a city ordinance and it's not the city that's putting the boot on your vehicle. If you carry a grinder, it might be helpful in case you get surprised with a boot.

If your truck gets booted, and you don't have the means to cut it off, then call 911 and tell them you're being held against your will. Give them the address, and a quick description of the part of the parking lot you're in and then hang up, and don't answer the call back. It wouldn't hurt to sound a little distressed. Then file a lawsuit against the tow company for wrongful imprisonment, and put every single one of their employees on the witness list. This would force the company to completely shut down through the process of the trial, which they would pay a hefty amount to avoid. You're welcome.😃
