No overnight truck parking! Parking lot security guard will make you leave!

For those that say "someone ruined it" for us and we can no longer stay. Chances of someone ruining it for everyone else are slim to none. There are only handful of reasons at any Walmart that they will ban trucks from parking lot. 1) city ordinance 2) customers complaining and or scared of big trucks 3) thin asphalt 4) major accident happened involving a big truck 5) Walmart not actually owning the lot So knock it off with wishing someone to die going down the monteagle! Out of 2000 walmarts i visited over the course of my trucking career, I've only seen 2 instances of someone throwing trash. People sure like to blame minorities and foreigners for nothing. And yes, I park at Walmarts most of my time. And for those that say there are no truck signs, it doesn't mean trucks aren't allowed. 95% of Walmarts across the country have some sort of signage, but they 100% allow you to park. Take a look at the Walmart in Vandalia, IL for example. They have truck designated parking, but signs everywhere

(1/11/2024) UPDATE: overnight truck parking is no longer allowed here… Somebody went and ruined it. Big surprise. This is why we can’t have anything nice in this industry anymore. Thanks a ton, whoever it was. Hope you **** a steer going down Monteagle loaded at 80K. (11/22/2022) Just checked with the employees on this store’s truck parking policy. I was told “we allow truck parking from 8 PM to 8 AM, then you have to leave the lot.” So they DO allow overnight parking here, but you can’t park and leave the truck here for a week of home time. Place is nice and easy to get in and out of, just be careful when you come down the hill to get into this place because it’s reeeeally steep.
