Love’s is usually one of the best truck stops around they have high standards and keep things clean. I’m not really sure what’s up with this location. I went to go take my shower and it smelt awful in the room like someone had died in there. I looked in the garbage can and there is a bloody pad in there. I get no one wants to clean stuff like that up but as paying customers using the showers we should not be subjected to things like that. Every love’s I go to they empty out the garbage after each person. I put the garbage can outside of the door and by the time I left it was still there with a bloody pad and that’s when I snapped the photo. PSA to the drivers using the showers, every single love’s has a big garbage can right next to the towel drop and you can easily dispose your personal hygiene garbage there instead of leaving it around unwrapped and stinking up for other people to deal with. It’s disgusting and as a fellow female driver I’m disappointed. The manager was sympathetic when I spoke to her about the situation so I do appreciate that.
