Hospitality made this small highway stop memorable. Parking is free but limited, & the entrance has a tight, awkward turn, though the lanes open up once inside & newer drivers should be able to manage it. The lot and pump area were clean, fuel lanes organized with quick flow, and diesel was $5.49. A nearby BP was $5.79. The highlight was PJ Concessions Hot Dog across the street. The food was amazing & cooked to order, but the woman running the stand made the experience even better. She was older but young at heart with a youthful spirit, she was welcoming & made everything a pleasure. Delizio is next door with a BP, & there’s also a fireworks shop here. The property has DEF pumps & a certified scale, was well lit at night, quiet, and felt safe during my 10-hour break. It seemed somewhat isolated despite being right off the highway, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. Easy highway access, no delays & genuinely nice people. Add this location starting to run ID the scam they want your drivers license before they’ll let you get fuel so I went ahead and pulled them out of my network. I’ve been feeling here for years and years. I’ve never had a surrender my drivers license and I’m not gonna start today.
