For those of you who may be wondering about Kates’ comment about Diesel #1 vs. Diesel #2: Diesel #1 (lighter, thinner fuel) and Diesel #2 (heavier, denser fuel) differ primarily in viscosity, energy content, and cold-weather performance. Cold Weather & Viscosity: Diesel #1 has lower viscosity and a lower gel point, making it ideal for winter or freezing temperatures as it resists gelling. Diesel #2 is thicker and prone to gelling in cold weather, though it performs well in moderate to warm climates. Efficiency & Cost: Diesel #2 contains more energy per gallon (approx. 139,500 BTUs vs. 125,500 BTUs for #1), providing better fuel economy and power. It is also generally less expensive and more widely available. Diesel #1 offers higher volatility and a higher cetane rating for easier ignition but results in lower miles per gallon.

Just opened in May 2026. Staff was nice but still learning the pumps and such. CAREFUL USING MUDFLAP- they offer two grades of DEISEL here. MUDFLAP only pays for DEISEL 2 so if you want the better DEISEL-1- you can’t get a deal! They charge MUDFLAP $5.99 flat regardless of what the Marverick street sign says. They don’t take 10-4 WEX here. Food was okay but pricy. Lots of sitting space in food area. Didn’t use showers.
