The Four Fields 3MD Asks For
The 3MD entry asks for four things, not a single sign-in. Two of them are simply your carrier number and your email; the rest come from the account you already hold.
Where 3MD sits
An Early-Registered ELD, Still Doing Its Job
3MD states that it is FMCSA certified and was among the first ELDs registered on the FMCSA list in early 2017, and that it sells without contracts or hidden fees. A fleet that has run it since then has years of logs in one place, and connecting does not disturb them.
The log history stays intact
3MD remains your system of record. The connection reads drivers, vehicles and hours of service, and writes nothing back.
Whichever 3MD device you run
3MD lists Bluetooth, LTE-connected and dashcam options. The connection reads the account rather than a particular unit.
What gets added is the route
A route built on the rig, with toll cost visible before the trip goes out.
SyncedHow it connects
How the 3MD Connection Works
- 01Connect
Fill the Form Once
Start your Trucker Path for Fleets trial, open Connect Account in Settings and choose 3MD. Enter the DOT/MC, Email, Username and Password listed above. Drivers and their hours of service come across on their own. Nothing is installed, and your 3MD device is not touched.
- 02Plan
Plan Around Real Hours
Routes are built from your truck profiles and each driver’s remaining hours, read live out of 3MD rather than re-keyed from a report.
- 03Dispatch
Dispatch to the Driver App
Send the route from the dashboard to the driver app in one tap, with no setup call to schedule and nothing to install in the truck.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Does connecting Trucker Path for Fleets replace my 3MD subscription?
No. It is an add-on, not a replacement. 3MD stays your system of record for hours of service, compliance and driver scoring. Trucker Path adds truck-safe routing and dispatch beside it.
Is the 3MD integration free?
Connecting 3MD costs nothing extra. Trucker Path for Fleets itself is a paid subscription and starts with a 7-day free trial, which needs a credit card to begin.
Will connecting change our existing logs?
No. Your logs stay in 3MD, which remains the system of record for hours of service.
What does the connect form need?
Your carrier number, your email, and your existing 3MD username and password. No separate key is requested.
We have logs going back years in 3MD.
They stay there. 3MD remains the system of record and the connection is read-only.
Does the type of 3MD device matter?
No. The connection reads your 3MD account rather than a particular Bluetooth, LTE or dashcam unit.
Who needs to be involved to connect?
Anyone holding a working 3MD sign-in and your carrier number. No key to request, and no approval to wait on.
