The Three Fields ELD Mandate Asks For
The ELD Mandate entry asks for three things, not a single sign-in. Two of them are simply your carrier number and your email; the rest come from the account you already hold.
Where ELD Mandate sits
Compliance First, Routing Beside It
ELD Mandate describes itself as an FMCSA-registered provider whose job is automating hours-of-service logging and keeping a fleet compliant in the US and Canada. That is the whole remit, which is why routing is a separate question rather than a setting inside it.
Compliance stays the product
Hours of service, logs and the mandate itself stay with ELD Mandate. Trucker Path reads the clocks and writes nothing back.
Routing is the gap this fills
Truck-safe routing built on each truck’s height, weight, length and axle count, rather than a map drawn for cars.

SyncedHow it connects
How the ELD Mandate Connection Works
- 01Connect
Fill the Form Once
Start your Trucker Path for Fleets trial, open Connect Account in Settings and choose ELD Mandate. Enter the DOT/MC, Email and API Key listed above. Drivers and their hours of service come across on their own. Nothing is installed, and your ELD Mandate hardware is not touched.
- 02Plan
Plan Around Real Hours
Routes are built from your truck profiles and each driver’s remaining hours, read live out of ELD Mandate rather than re-keyed from a report.
- 03Dispatch
Dispatch to the Driver App
Send the route from the dashboard to the driver app in one tap, with no setup call to schedule and nothing to install in the truck.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Does connecting Trucker Path for Fleets replace my ELD Mandate subscription?
No. It is an add-on, not a replacement. ELD Mandate stays your system of record for hours of service, compliance and driver scoring. Trucker Path adds truck-safe routing and dispatch beside it.
Is the ELD Mandate integration free?
Connecting ELD Mandate costs nothing extra. Trucker Path for Fleets itself is a paid subscription and starts with a 7-day free trial, which needs a credit card to begin.
Does this affect our ELD compliance?
No. ELD Mandate stays your system of record for hours of service. The connection is read-only.
What does the connect form need?
Your carrier number, your email, and an API key generated inside ELD Mandate by someone with administrator access.
Is routing part of ELD compliance?
No, and that is the point. ELD Mandate handles the logs; truck-safe routing is a separate job that this connection adds beside it.
Will this change how roadside inspections work?
No. Your logs and the way they are presented at roadside stay entirely with ELD Mandate.
Who needs to be involved to connect?
Someone who can generate an API key inside ELD Mandate. Keys are usually restricted to administrators, so if that is not you, that is the one person to ask.
