The Four Fields ORBCOMM Asks For
The ORBCOMM entry asks for four things, not a single sign-in. Two of them are simply your carrier number and your email; the rest come from the account you already hold.
How it connects
How the ORBCOMM Connection Works
- 01Connect
Connect the Trucks That Need It
Start your Trucker Path for Fleets trial, open Connect Account in Settings and choose ORBCOMM. Enter the DOT/MC, Email, Username and Password listed above. Drivers and their hours of service come across on their own. Nothing is installed, and your ORBCOMM hardware is not touched.
- 02Plan
Plan Around Real Hours
Routes are built from your truck profiles and each driver’s remaining hours, read live out of the ORBCOMM platform rather than re-keyed from a report.
- 03Dispatch
Dispatch to the Driver App
Send the route from the dashboard to the driver app in one tap. Only the trucks you connected are affected; everything else on the account carries on untouched.
What ORBCOMM covers
More Than Trucks on the Account
ORBCOMM describes managing trucks, dry vans, reefers, chassis, containers and railcars under a single platform, with cold chain and cargo security alongside. Most of that is not a tractor, and only the tractors need a route planned on height and weight.
Trailers and containers stay where they are
The asset classes ORBCOMM lists beyond the tractor keep running on ORBCOMM alone. Nothing about them changes.
The tractors get a route built on the rig
Height, weight, length and axle count per truck, so a bridge that clears a container chassis but not a loaded van is handled before the driver reaches it.
One hours-of-service source
The clocks a dispatcher plans against are the ones ORBCOMM is already recording. Nobody reconciles two numbers.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Does connecting Trucker Path for Fleets replace my ORBCOMM subscription?
No. It is an add-on, not a replacement. the ORBCOMM platform stays your system of record for hours of service, compliance and driver scoring. Trucker Path adds truck-safe routing and dispatch beside it.
Is the ORBCOMM integration free?
Connecting ORBCOMM costs nothing extra. Trucker Path for Fleets itself is a paid subscription and starts with a 7-day free trial, which needs a credit card to begin.
We track reefers and containers on ORBCOMM too. Does connecting change that?
No. ORBCOMM stays the system for every asset class it already covers. The connection reads drivers, vehicles and hours of service, and writes nothing back.
Do we have to bring the whole fleet across?
No. Connect the trucks that need routing on height and weight.
Will our reefer temperature data come across?
No, and it does not need to. The connection reads drivers, vehicles and hours of service only. Cold chain monitoring stays in ORBCOMM.
We track railcars and containers too. Does the truck count change?
Trucker Path for Fleets is priced on the trucks you connect, not on every asset class ORBCOMM covers.
Who needs to be involved to connect?
Anyone holding a working ORBCOMM sign-in and your carrier number. No key to request, and no approval to wait on.
