Before you start

The Pedigree Technologies entry asks for four things, not a single sign-in. Two of them are simply your carrier number and your email; the rest come from the account you already hold.

    Start your Trucker Path for Fleets trial, open Connect Account in Settings and choose Pedigree Technologies. Enter the DOT/MC, Email, Username and Password listed above. Drivers and their hours of service come across on their own. Nothing is installed, and your OneView hardware is not touched.

    Plan Around Real Hours

    Routes are built from your truck profiles and each driver’s remaining hours, read live out of OneView rather than re-keyed from a report.

    Dispatch to the Driver App

    Send the route from the dashboard to the driver app in one tap. Only the trucks you connected are affected; everything else on the account carries on untouched.

What OneView covers

Assets and Work Orders, Not Only Hours

Pedigree Technologies describes OneView as capturing data from truck drivers, other workers and other assets, including run-time hours, machine health and work order details. A fleet on Pedigree is usually tracking more than a tractor, and the connection only needs the tractors.

  • Equipment and work orders stay in OneView

    Machine health, run-time hours and work order detail are OneView’s job. The connection does not touch them.

  • The trucks get a route built on the rig

    Height, weight, length and axle count per truck, with the restriction handled before the driver reaches it.

  • Toll cost before you commit

    See what a route costs in tolls while you are still choosing it, and send the cheaper one.

Connecting Pedigree Technologies costs nothing extra. Trucker Path for Fleets itself is a paid subscription and starts with a 7-day free trial, which needs a credit card to begin.

Does connecting affect our asset and work order data?

No. The connection reads drivers, vehicles and hours of service. Everything else in OneView is untouched.
