Where Reveal came from

Reveal Started as Fleetmatics

Verizon Connect states on its own site that Fleetmatics Reveal joined Verizon Connect, and describes Reveal as GPS fleet management software aimed at small and medium-size businesses, with the full platform available on a phone. A fleet that signed with Fleetmatics is running Reveal today, and the sign-in carried over.

    Your existing Reveal sign-in is what the connect form reads. Nothing new is created for Trucker Path.

  • Tracking and maintenance stay in Reveal

    Verizon Connect lists GPS fleet tracking, maintenance alerts, performance reporting and asset management as Reveal’s own. None of it moves.

  • What gets added is the road

    A route built on each truck’s height, weight, length and axle count, with toll cost visible before the load is dispatched.

Before you start

The Verizon Connect Reveal entry asks for four things, not a single sign-in. Two of them are simply your carrier number and your email; the rest come from the account you already hold.

    Start your Trucker Path for Fleets trial, open Connect Account in Settings and choose Verizon Connect Reveal. Enter the DOT/MC, Email, Username and Password listed above. Drivers and their hours of service come across on their own. Nothing is installed, and your existing hardware is not touched.

    Plan Around Real Hours

    Routes are built from your truck profiles and each driver’s remaining hours, read live out of Reveal rather than re-keyed from a report.

    Dispatch to the Driver App

    Send the route from the dashboard to the driver app in one tap. The name on the contract does not change what the driver sees: turn-by-turn directions, on the phone they already carry.

FAQ

Does connecting Trucker Path for Fleets replace my Verizon Connect Reveal subscription?

No. It is an add-on, not a replacement. Reveal stays your system of record for hours of service, compliance and driver scoring. Trucker Path adds truck-safe routing and dispatch beside it.

Is the Verizon Connect Reveal integration free?

Connecting Verizon Connect Reveal costs nothing extra. Trucker Path for Fleets itself is a paid subscription and starts with a 7-day free trial, which needs a credit card to begin.

Is Reveal the same as Fleetmatics?

Yes. Verizon Connect states on its own site that Fleetmatics Reveal joined Verizon Connect. The product kept the Reveal name and your account came with it.

We also see a Verizon Connect entry. Which do we pick?

Pick the one your sign-in belongs to. Reveal and Verizon Connect are separate entries in the connect list because they are separate sign-ins.

Reveal is aimed at smaller fleets. Is Trucker Path for Fleets sized for us?

It starts at three trucks and is sold from a published price list rather than a quote, so a small fleet does not have to go through sales to find out what it costs.

Does connecting change anything drivers do in Reveal?

No. Duty status and hours of service stay in Reveal. The route arrives in the Trucker Path app on the phone drivers already carry.

Who needs to be involved to connect?

Anyone holding a working Verizon Connect Reveal sign-in and your carrier number. No key to request, and no approval to wait on.
