Before you start

The Zonar entry asks for five things, not a single sign-in. Two of them are simply your carrier number and your email; the rest come from the account you already hold.

    Connect the Trucks That Need It

    Start your Trucker Path for Fleets trial, open Connect Account in Settings and choose Zonar. Enter the DOT/MC, Email, Username, Password and Customer No listed above. Drivers and their hours of service come across on their own. Nothing is installed, and the V4 telematics unit is not touched.

    Plan Around Real Hours

    Routes are built from your truck profiles and each driver’s remaining hours, read live out of Zonar Logs rather than re-keyed from a report.

    Dispatch to the Driver App

    Send the route from the dashboard to the driver app in one tap. Only the trucks you connected are affected; everything else on the account carries on untouched.

Who Zonar serves

Public Fleets and Commercial Fleets on One Platform

Zonar describes itself as helping public and private fleet managers improve regulatory compliance, efficiency and safety, and it builds its own hardware: the V4 telematics control unit installs onto the engine ECU in light, medium and heavy duty vehicles. A mixed roster is normal on Zonar, and only the heavy trucks need truck-safe routing.

  • Light and medium duty stay on Zonar alone

    A vehicle that fits any road does not need a route planned around a 13’6" trailer. Those keep running in Zonar untouched.

  • Heavy duty gets the restriction handled first

    Low bridges, weight limits and truck-restricted streets, worked out from the profile of the actual rig.

  • Zonar stays the record

    Zonar Logs remains your hours-of-service system. Trucker Path reads the clocks and never writes back.

FAQ

Does connecting Trucker Path for Fleets replace my Zonar subscription?

No. It is an add-on, not a replacement. Zonar Logs stays your system of record for hours of service, compliance and driver scoring. Trucker Path adds truck-safe routing and dispatch beside it.

Is the Zonar integration free?

Connecting Zonar costs nothing extra. Trucker Path for Fleets itself is a paid subscription and starts with a 7-day free trial, which needs a credit card to begin.

We run buses and trucks on the same Zonar account. Can we connect only the trucks?

Yes. Connect the vehicles that need routing built on height and weight, and leave the rest running in Zonar alone.

Does this change Zonar Logs?

No. Zonar Logs stays your hours-of-service system of record. The connection reads from it.

Does this affect Zonar EVIR inspections?

No. Inspections stay in Zonar. The connection reads drivers, vehicles and hours of service and writes nothing back.

Our fleet is mostly school buses with a few trucks.
