Trucker Path for Fleets or CoPilot?
Both use truck-specific routing. CoPilot adds navigation to your existing dispatch system; Trucker Path for Fleets takes the trip from planning to the driver app.

Three Differences That Matter

Feedback From Our Customers
“Our driver managers are hearing very positive feedback about the safe and efficient routes we are providing with the Trucker Path app, and they’re reporting that any issues getting new drivers enrolled or up to speed are being handled quickly.”
“Do you know that we saved our toll bill that month was $40,000 less than it normally is? It was only $40,000-some versus $84,000-some, and so we’re like, ooh, that, and it was not, it was Trucker Path.”
“The features are clear-cut and straightforward to use — very convenient. As a towing business with heavy loads, the convenience of our truckers being able to self-adjust their routes is a key benefit for us.”

What Fleets Ask Next
Is CoPilot a dispatch system?
Trimble positions CoPilot as commercial navigation that integrates "directly into back-office, dispatch or field service applications" — it adds routing to the systems a fleet already runs. Trucker Path for Fleets is itself the place the trip is built and sent.
Do both work with my ELD?
Yes. Trimble states CoPilot lets fleets add navigation "without replacing their existing compliance or telematics systems". Trucker Path for Fleets connects to 30+ ELD platforms on the same principle: the ELD keeps hours and compliance, and the route sits alongside it.
Which one shows toll cost before dispatch?
Trucker Path for Fleets shows toll for the route and for each leg before the trip goes to the driver. Thomas E., Founder of Keller Trucking, describes a month where the toll bill came in at $40,000-some against a normal $84,000-some. The CoPilot material we read does not address toll.
What does each one cost?
Trucker Path publishes fleet pricing on its site. Trimble states CoPilot pricing "is based on fleet size, deployment type and integration requirements" and asks fleets to contact their team. The separate CoPilot GPS app for individual drivers starts at $9.99.
What do drivers use in each case?
With Trucker Path for Fleets, the Trucker Path app drivers already open for parking, fuel prices and weigh station status. With CoPilot, the CoPilot app or CoPilot inside the application a telematics provider supplies.
Does either include fuel purchasing or freight?
Trucker Path for Fleets puts fuel stops and prices on the planned route and integrates with WEX for fuel transactions. Fleet Fuel, the fuel card with discounts and driver spending controls, is a separate Trucker Path product with its own sign-up rather than part of the fleet subscription. Freight is in the product: four load boards on one screen, with TruckLoads built in and the Truckstop, C.H. Robinson and Coyote accounts you already have connected alongside it, and a load goes straight into a trip. The CoPilot material we read covers navigation plus optional Weather Intelligence and RouteReporter modules.
